This spring, look out for Cadillac’s newest addition to the V-Series Lineup: the Escalade. Though the brand has yet to reveal full specs for the 2023 Escalade-V, here’s what we know so far about this exciting offering.
Similar to the current members of the V-Series family, the Escalade-V will be characterized by track-ready performance and athletic style. Whereas the current Escalade variant is known for its interior sophistication and tech goodies, the Escalade-V promises a more exhilarating experience behind the wheel.
The engine of the Escalade-V sounds more like a sports car’s engine than the quieter mill of a typical luxury SUV. And it’s predicted that the Escalade-V will have a 6.2-liter V8 similar to the one that the CT5-V Blackwing sedan has, according to CNBC’s Michael Wayland.
If you’re not familiar with the V-Series lineup, this performance vehicle collection currently includes the CT5-V and CT4-V Blackwing models, as well as the CT4-V and CT5-V. And the brand has been gradually introducing and fine-tuning each of its V-Series products for nearly two decades, which testifies to the series’ popularity with customers.
Cadillac’s imminent release of the Escalade-V this spring signals the brand’s increased focus on its V-Series offerings. This new offering is sure to attract Caddy fans who lean toward the Escalade but can’t stop thinking about the V-Series models’ potent powertrains. Stay tuned to our blog in the days ahead as we wait for Cadillac to release the full specs for the Escalade-V as anticipate its market release.
