GMC revealed the first look at its upcoming electric Sierra Denali luxury pickup truck. The new Sierra Denali will be the third electric entry into the brand’s lineup, after the Hummer EV and Hummer SUV.
Impressive Capability & Utility
The Sierra Denali pickup blends impressive capability and utility with advanced tech and premium materials. The gas version can tow up to 9,600 lbs and comes with the innovative six-function MultiPro Tailgate for outstanding work performance. And with perforated leather seats and open-pore real ash wood trim, the cab feels ultra luxurious.
Elevated Luxury & Style
According to GMC, the EV version of the iconic Sierra Denali will not just maintain the same level of luxury and capability but will evolve its technologies and elevate the styling. For instance, one feature we know will be included on the Sierra Denali EV is a unique lighting system in the front end, with LEDs around the GMC logo for an eye-catching, sophisticated look.
The Sierra Denali EV will use the same Ultium battery packs as the Hummer, though GMC hasn’t released details of the exact configurations. The Ultium battery is stackable and can be arranged vertically or horizontally, so it can go in the most convenient spot in a vehicle, making it flexible across entire lineups.
